For the benefit of our current players, families, coaches, and welcome newcomers, we have added, or maintained the following to our Travel Program:
We will continue to stay committed to the long-term development in accordance with widely accepted scholarly research and practical experiecnce which includes: Early talent identification is a gambled practice for grassroots players. This means that the selection process of making A and B teams for grassroots players has no correlation with the future success of players. Many professional academies all around the world now know that it is impossible to know which (if any) of the amazing young players that they scout will make it to their first team as they grow up.
At Dynamo, our solution to this is to keep the teams even at the younger ages of U9 through U12, expanding the focus to the development of every single player, not just some of them. We do this for our players, our community and for the spirit of the game.
Dynamo Soccer Club Travel Program asks that all U10-U15 players commit to playing the entire seasonal year, fall through spring, while our U16-U19 teams participate in the fall full time, and spring part-time. There are two (2) options for paying Travel fees, pay-in-full at the time of acceptance, or monthly installments.
*Additionally, players are required to purchase a uniform package.
Families in need of partial financial assistance must fill out a Financial Assistance form, and be approved by the Dynamo Director before scholarship monies will be granted. Scholarship monies are limited and are given out on a first-come-first-served basis. Please note that there are no full scholarships, and scholarship monies are given with agreements from parents to help Dynamo Soccer Club with volunteer work during the season, including tournament preparation and score-running, assistance with fundraising endeavors, and assistance with club events.
